As link builders we send tons of emails every day and use quite a number of different tools.
In this post I share the 3 I recommend you also use.
1. Email Verifier
Massive outreach campaigns require preparation – you just can’t send 1000 emails without verifying them.
There are 2 main reasons for that.
First, your deliverability will suffer.
This is when the emails that are supposed to land into inbox are no longer doing that ending up
in people’s spam boxes.
The reality is that…you don’t need to bounce a lot of emails before you’d start seeing issues – anything above 1% is too much.
Second, your account can (and will) get throttled by Gmail (even if it’s a paid Gsuite account), so you won’t
be able to send more emails in a given day.
Even though this temporary “ban” is usually removed on the next day, it still sucks because your
output goes down.
So now that I convinced you regarding an email verifier…here is a bunch that you can try:
We tried them all and I like verify-email.org the most (great price/quality).
We’ve been on and off Mailshake but I can’t avoid recommending it especially now that we are using it again.
Mailshake is a great, simple to set up tool for mass outreach campaigns.
It’s great for one major reason – you don’t pay for any extra emails you send which is the case
with Pitchbox and Ninjaoutreach.
If you were to send 1000 extra emails in Pitchbox (that would go over your current plan), you’d need to pay $25 extra.
Given that Mailshake is $39 per month for unlimited emails, you can see what I’m talking about.
Besides that, it actually allows more than 3 emails in a sequence (Pitchbox only has 3 attempts
in total), which is awesome for outreach-based link building.
We are now using it for all of our clients.
No matter what you do, as you send more and more cold emails, your sender score decreases.
You burn your IP and your deliverability diminishes and…this is when GlockApps comes in.
Use this tool to check how well your emails get delivered.
When I first tried it, I was shocked to learn that only 40% of our emails get delivered (that’s 60 out of 100 emails that went to spam box).
Since then we were able to improve our deliverability immensely – it’s at ~95% now (the improvement came largely as a result of using email verifier, so I recommend it once again).
So there you have it – the 3 amazing tools I recommend you use for outreach at scale. 😎
